Lana Loud is a main character in The Loud House.

Biography

Lana is the fourth-youngest member of the Loud family, second oldest of the younger sisters, and eighth oldest, at 6 years old. She is Lola's twin sister.

Personality

Lana is a tomboy, contrasting with her twin's more girlish personality. She loves to play and enjoys getting her hands really dirty with mud. She also has fascinations towards anything gross, like mud and frogs and digging in the trash to look for some chewing gum.

She has proven to have good habilities in plumbing and fixing artifacts, like in "Sleuth or Consequences" where she uses "Big Bertha" plunger to unclog the toilet.

Nick Description

"Lana Loud is the resident Ms Fix-It and is always ready to lend a hand, no matter how dirty the job. Need your toilet unclogged? Snake fed? No job is too tough or too gross to take on. All she asks in return is a little A-B-C gum or a handful of dog food."

Appearance

Lana is nearly identical in her physical appearance to Lola. She has blonde hair with two downward pigtails tied down with red scrunchies, and is missing her front teeth like her twin does. She wears a red baseball cap backwards, white sneakers with blue stripes, and a murky green t-shirt under dark blue overalls. Her PJs is just a murky green shirt, her swimsuit is a blue one piece, which look like overalls.

Throughout the series, her normal outfit has changed depending on the situation she's going on.

Relationships

Her siblings generally

Lana gets along well with all of her siblings. Sometimes her habits result in grossing them out, but despite this they respect and love her and Lana will always offer to help in whatever problem they have.

Lincoln

Lincoln often ceases arguments between Lola and Lana, and he promised to protect them from ghosts much to her joy. She admits she's not picky about food, but Lincoln's sandwich was too bad for her. She's close enough to Lincoln to introduce him her new pets, and for the most part the two seem to get along okay. She once took the remote control to scratch her back; Lincoln agreed to scratch her back if she gives him the remote control. In "Hand-Me-Downer" he gave her his newest bike much to her joy.

In "Toads and Tiaras" he wanted tickets to Dairyland so much he convinced Lana to impersonate Lola to compete in a beauty contest to win them. Much to her annoyance he tried to make her act not like herself but he constantly reminded her about Dairyland. However after seeing how much she suffered not being herself he apologized to her, and told her to be herself even if she doesn't win the contest. She did it with pleasure.

Lynn

Though they both may not have made full interactions in the series they both seem to enjoy each others' company. They both love to pretend fight and have tomboy-ish natures.

Lola

They share the same room and are generally in a good relationship, but they both don't like the differences between them as Lana is a tomboy. and Lola is a girly girl. Lana is mischievous because in Along Came a Sister she tried to cut the hair of Lola's doll which Lola would really dislike. Despite this they enjoy playing together and wanted to watch the same cartoon on television.

Lily

She and Lily have a good relationship. In "Changing the Baby" Lana tries to implement her interests on Lily and make her a playing partner because she had nobody that shared her likes.

Trivia

  • According to a tweet from the show's writers, Lana was born before Lola. This is revealed in "Ties That Bind" that she is older by two minutes.
  • Lana was named after one of Chris Savino's five sisters.
  • Lana's murky green shirt was originally red in development.
  • Lana relaxes by playing in the mud and hanging out with frogs.
  • Lana loves animals.
  • Lana owns many baseball caps of different colors.
  • As shown in "Undie Pressure", Lana would act like a dog whenever she is sad.
  • In "For Bros About to Rock", it is revealed that Luna ruined hers and Lola's first Blarney the Dinosaur concert by jumping on them and others in an attempt to crowd surf.
  • Lana's ideal superpower is to talk to animals.
  • Her Polish name is Henna, with the nickname "Hen."
  • Lana is the only one of Lincoln's siblings that does not mind visiting Aunt Ruth, excluding Lily who does not normally visit her.
  • So far, Lana, Lincoln, and Lola are the only characters to appear in every segment.
