Lincoln Loud is the main protagonist of The Loud House. BiographyLincoln is the middle child. At 11 years old, he's the sixth oldest in the family. He is the only boy in the Loud family. Lincoln often speaks to the viewer about how he gets around his often-chaotic household and the insane antics of his ten sisters. PersonalityLincoln is an enthusiastic and charismatic boy. Although in some occasions he can act selfishly, he is a good hearted boy that is always looking for fun. He is an avid fancier of comic books, manga, video games and science fiction stories, which is the typical stereotype of a child of his age. He is known to be "the man with a plan", as he is usually elaborating plans with an specific objective (most of them for his own benefits). His plans rarely succeed because of his own selfish and reckless decisions or by his sisters' interference. When he goes to far he will always find the solution even if that means humiliating himself as seen in "Making the Case" and in Sleuth or Consequences. Most of the time Lincoln is quiet and relaxed, but sometimes he gets upset when he is annoyed or something goes wrong. Also he has proved to be very patient, especially with his sisters. He tries to make friends with other boys but they do not care about him as much as Clyde, his only friend. He really feels bad of being an outcast so he tries to be like the others. He's a very individual person with limited experience of teamwork in contrast to his sisters who cooperate as roommates what was shown in "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House". Something that Lincoln has showed is that he is a multi-faceted boy. By living with ten sisters with a different personality each one, he is adapted to them, so he can communicate with any of them and help them with their activities without a problem. To survive in this house, Lincoln always has to have a plan. With 10 sisters and 1 bathroom, he has to!" AppearanceLincoln has white hair. A large tuft of his hair sticks up. He has an overbite with a prominent chipped front tooth, noticeable bags around his eyes, and freckles on his cheeks. Lincoln usually dresses in an orange polo shirt, blue jeans, gray socks with blue and red stripes, and white sneakers with red stripes. His sleepwear is an orange nightshirt with matching pants, but sometimes he wears an orange t-shirt and his underwear. His swimsuit is a pair of orange trunks. His comic-book reading attire is white briefs and socks. Throughout the series, his normal outfit has changed depending of the situation he's going on. RelationshipsHis sisters generallyLincoln and his sisters sharing a big hug. Even with the antics of his ten sisters, he loves them very much and cares for them deeply. Whatever problem they have, they can count on Lincoln to help them and vice versa. However after he publicly humiliated them all, each of them loathed him and pretended he's not their brother anymore. They forgave him only after he humiliated himself to be even with them. For a long time they always fight for the remote control, found money, the best place in their family van, and in the living room. As a big brother he is rather protective as he resolves conflicts between his sisters. All of his sisters were deeply annoyed when he ignored them in "Sound of Silence" so they all gave him a humiliating punishment. He often has enough of them but he quickly gets lonely without them as seen in "Linc or Swim". All of his sisters can't tolerate anybody bullying Lincoln, and they are supportive of his romantic life as well, which implies that all of them want the best for their brother, and for him to be happy. LoriLori is often very mean and bossy towards him, and at times seems to be the sister he has the worst relationship with but, she deeply loves him although she doesn't admit it. In "Get the Message", she accidentally broke his video game and didn't apologize. That lead Lincoln to write a hateful letter to her and send her a nasty message. However she bought him new copy of the destroyed video game, gave it to him and then apologized (even though the way she did it didn't sound genuine, and she is still kind of a jerk about it). Lincoln felt sorry for this and attempted to erase the message before she could hear it. She later erases it herself, and berates him for calling her phone, and at the end she unintentionally comes across his note he used for the nasty message, and storms out yelling, and threatening Lincoln. Even though she got him the new game goggles it is still hard to say if it makes up for her nasty attitude throughout the story, and like mentioned before her sentiment towards Lincoln for breaking his old pair didn't sound sincere. Lincoln is afraid of Lori when she's angry and runs from her. Like his other siblings, he detests when she's too bossy to them. However in "Heavy Meddle" she is upset with the idea of a bully harming her brother, and like the rest of her siblings comes to his aid of how to deal with the problem. In "No Guts, No Glori" it is shown that when the two get along they can make a pretty good team. In "Project Loud House" she like the others immediately comes to Lincoln's aid when his project gets destroyed. While her relationship with Lincoln is far from perfect she deeply loves him, and will always be there for him before she'd hurt him. LeniLeni (in her driving outfit) next to Lincoln. Leni's ignorance annoys Lincoln but he tolerates it because of her kind and friendly nature. In "Driving Miss Hazy" he helped her to pass driving licence by using her semi-language. He also convinced her to not give up trying. In "Along Came a Sister" Lincoln brought his classes' pet tarantula home for the weekend, and Leni tried to kill it out of fear. However after she learned Lincoln will have big trouble in school because of the dead spider she felt very sorry. When the spider is still alive she protected it to save her brother's status quo proving how much she loves her brother, and the good person she is. In "Linc or Swim" she happily invited him to a newly purchased pool although he was mean to her and the others for using his pool. After he accidentally destroyed their pool he invited them all to rejoin him in his pool. Luna Lincoln and Luna enjoying the concert. Because Luna is very nice and helpful towards everyone Lincoln seems to tolerate her the most. She sings songs for him to make him feel better or to motivate him to do hard things. His relationship with her is better than most of his other sisters, but she is not above getting angry with him, or having inconsiderate moments with him such as in "The Sweet Spot" where she attacks him in order to get the best seat in the van, or in "Sleuth or Consequences" accusing Lincoln of clogging the toilet without any proof, and later being smug towards him about the Princess Pony reveal. In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House" she brutally kicks him out of her room with powerful sound speakers just because he asked about the money which was a very nasty move on her part. In "For Bros About to Rock", she wanted to make his first concert very unforgettable. He brutally admitted he doesn't want her to ruin his first concert as she already did to Lori, Lana, Lola and Lisa. She felt hurt but realized he's correct about her. After Lincoln was arrested for attempted illegal purchasing of concert tickets, Luna disguised herself as their mom to get him free so they and Clyde could go to the concert. At the end they all enjoyed the concert together. LuanLike all of his siblings he gets annoyed by Luan's unfunny jokes. She can at times pull nasty pranks on him, but this is likely due to the fact that she is trying to be funny and isn't really aware that what she did can cause him grief, so it appears that she does it without malicious intentions. In "Making the Case", he came to her for advice on making funny viral videos, and she happily gave him the idea to always have the camera on. When he thought he was going to be expelled from his family in "Ties That Bind", he left her his comic book collection, but she refused them as she didn't want him to leave. LynnLynn believes that Lincoln is the best roommate ever. His relationship with her is quite complex. She often bullies him and during playing she roughhouses with him causing him wounds and doesn't seem to worry about it. She likely picked him as her sparing partner because he's the closest to her in strength and fitness. Like everyone Lynn gets annoyed by Lincoln when he reads comics in underwear only. In "Hand-Me-Downer", she was angry at him for stealing her bike and losing it, she took his one to bike race as she had no other choice. However after she won the race and he found the bike she allowed him to keep it. In "Space Invader", after she had a heated argument with Lucy Lincoln was the first person she asked for sharing room. She used puppy eyes to convince him. He couldn't endure her roughhousing, her pranks and especially her snoring. However he loved her too much to just kick her out so he tried to be a bad roommate. However she complimented him for a perfect impersonation of Lucy, and beating her in Mexican wrestling. She finds him the best roommate ever, better than Lucy. Then he decided to restore peace between her and Lucy. Once he asked her to join him in comic reading but she told she doesn't like comics. LucyThey don't share the same interests but they get on well with each other; however he hates it when she scares him. Lucy sometimes asks him for help to create rhymes for her poems. Despite her "spooky" personality, Lincoln seems to appreciate her and he tolerates her creepy hobby and she's glad for his tolerance. Once he invited her to play in ghost hunting but she refused explaining they are her friends. In "Sleuth or Consequences" she clogged the toilet which lead to Lincoln being wrongly accused. She tried to help him clear his name so he could go to the comic book convention, but also tried to frame her other sisters. When Lincoln discovered she's guilty, she begged him not to tell anyone to save herself from humiliation for rest of her life, and he took the blame himself. She was grateful to him so she showed her appreciation for it by giving him her homemade horror comic, which he accepted with pleasure. LanaLincoln telling Lola and Lana he will protect them. Lincoln often ceases arguments between Lola and Lana, and he promised to protect them from ghosts much to her joy. She admits she's not picky about food, but Lincoln's sandwich was too bad for her. She's close enough to Lincoln to introduce him her new pets, and for the most part the two seem to get along okay. She once took the remote control to scratch her back; Lincoln agreed to scratch her back if she gives him the remote control. In "Hand-Me-Downer" he gave her his newest bike much to her joy. In "Toads and Tiaras" he wanted tickets to Dairyland so much he convinced Lana to impersonate Lola to compete in a beauty contest to win them. Much to her annoyance he tried to make her act not like herself but he constantly reminded her about Dairyland. However after seeing how much she suffered not being herself he apologized to her and told her to be herself even if she doesn't win the contest. LolaLincoln often ceases arguments between Lola and Lana and he promised to protect them from ghosts much to her joy. She often blames him for many bad things that happen to her even if she can blame only herself like in Chore and Peace and It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House. He's afraid of Lola's anger, and she can easily take advantage of him even if she's almost twice younger than him (although in "Sound of Silence" it's shown that she can be intimidating and or threatening to any of her siblings). She was his main opponent in "Undie Pressure". He lost and abandoned his habit as a part of the deal but Lola felt sorry so she bought him comfortable slips, he hugged her in return. Lola is always grateful towards Lincoln when he does nice things for her. LisaLisa hugging Lincoln for proving her hypothesis. Lisa considers him and rest of the sisters as not very intelligent. Lincoln doesn't have a lot of interactions with her, but the two don't seem to have many problems with each other. He gets disgusted when she is trying to use her sisters as test subjects for her experiments, like in "Project Loud House", after she turns Leni's skin blue, or putting Lily into a crazy machine. In "Butterfly Effect", Lincoln breaks Lisa's chemical bottles with his yoyo and he believes Lisa will get angry for what he did, but instead of being angry she becomes ecstatic with him and thanks him for prove her hypothesis and for admitting what he did. LilyLincoln carrying Lily. He and Lily seem to really love each other. Lincoln is one of the siblings who often carries Lily, changes her diapers and burps her. He tries to implement his interests on his baby sister because he had nobody to play with in the episode "Changing the Baby". He's very protective towards her as he saved her from falling, searched for her when she was missing, and saved her from Lisa's seemingly dangerous experiment. In "Two Boys and a Baby" he babysat her and learned it isn't as easy as he thought. Mom and DadLincoln also loves his parents and they love him too. Every time he wants to do something he must ask them for permission like in "In Tents Debate", where he asks them if they can go to another place for their annual vacation. In "Ties That Bind", Lincoln believes that his parents want to get rid of him and his sisters, but it was just a misunderstanding. They seem to not favor any of their children to prevent harder sibling rivalry. Clyde Lincoln and Clyde bumping fists. Clyde is Lincoln's best friend and wingman and both have a good relationship. He appears to be his only male friend, as Clyde is the only boy of his school class that tolerates his sister's antics, as seen in "Overnight Success". Clyde is very loyal to him and when Lincoln gets a plan, he is always prepared to help him. They usually hang out in other places or just spend time with Lincoln's sisters. The only thing that annoys Lincoln from Clyde is his obsession with his sister Lori. Because of this he calls Lincoln his brother-in-law (Polish version). In "Changing the Baby", Clyde feels sad after thinking Lincoln has replaced him with Lily, but at the end Lincoln says him that he won't be replaced because he is his best friend. He also came with him to SMOOCH concert in "For Bros About to Rock". Trivia
